Ganjababies are invited to attend an Art Showing and Fundraiser to support the Medical Marihuana Provisioning Centers Act (HB 4271) and the Decriminalization Act (HB 4623).

We believe in the myriad healing aspects of marijuana that affect us both physically and emotionally,
and think that patients’ rights should be protected in accessing this beneficial plant.

We have experienced first-hand the prosecution (or persecution) of non-violent marihuana users under our current archaic laws, and feel that the 325 million the State spends annually on arresting, prosecuting and incarcerating these people (according to Jeff Irwin in his 4/24/2013 speech) can be well spent somewhere else.

There’s a debate out there about whether the Provisioning Center Bill is really the way to go, but Ganjamama’s feels that just as we have choices about where to shop for groceries and what groceries we buy, we should also have the choice of where to go for our preferred herbal remedies. What’s great is the provisioning center bill makes no changes to the current caregiver system – so patients who are benefiting from that system still can – but it would also allow caregivers the ability share resources, and patients the ability to access different consumption methods and strains. Provisioning centers, when done right, are an educational and healing hub that patients and caregivers alike can use as resources.
